The dragon is an imaginary animal species that frightens many in the world. Movies and TV series featuring their characters have become very popular. Dragon cartoon characters seen in some movies and on TV are loved by adults as well as children. Have you heard of armadillo lizards? Recently such a specialized armadillo lizard was discovered. As a defensive tactic,   they could be rounding as a ball. They are also known as dragons because of their ability and appearance. The skin of the body on the surface is thick thorns and wrinkled. This lizard represents one of the most unique and weird reptiles in the world.

The sharp thorns on their skin, help them to protect themselves from the harsh environment and hostile dangers. they live as large groups hiding among the cracks in the rocks of the South African deserts. These lizards are the only reptiles that do not lay eggs outside among the reptiles. They also like to sunbathe a bit. But due to some illegal trafficking by peoples’, these lizards are threatened with extinction.

This is because these lizards are not as fast as other lizards and they are slow animals. So humans can easily catch them. Although they look like dangerous animals, they are not really dangerous animals.
